ABOUT
Hello!
...My name is Carrie and I have a complete addiction to photography.
I thoroughly enjoy the process of seeking out, staking out and capturing beautiful images in the perfect setting of light, time and place. With my handy canine sidekick Otto by my side, we scour the Reno-Lake Tahoe and surrounding high desert area searching out interesting subject matter and are constantly in quest for the 'perfect light'.
I specialize in Architectural, Commercial and Lifestyle imagery.
What exactly does that mean? Well, I shoot it all and I do it with style and technical knowledge of lighting that creates not only memorable, but unique and creative images.
RECENT NEWS
My photography services of the Tamarack lodge were published in the 2012 Architectural Wood Design Award book. The lodge is featured as an award winning structure utilizing the traditional use of wood.
Located at 9,150 feet above sea level, the Tamarack Ski Lodge at Heavenly is located at the top of the gondola station and serves as a skier hub accommodating 500 guests. The main seating area features 2 story glazing to the south providing magnificent views of the Sierras and the much desired southern solar aspect during the winter months. The exterior features cedar wood siding while the interior utilizes douglas fir structural beams. The intent was to create an appealing structure that blended into the beauty of the surrounding mountain environment.
